The main objectives of the career guidance plan is the participation of the teaching staff of the department in working with educational organizations on career guidance. The teaching staff of the department is actively working in this direction.

At the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a meeting was held with a well-known public and government figure, chairman of the Republican public association “Union of Deputies of Maslikhats of Kazakhstan”, ex-senator Toleubek Mukashev and doctoral student of the Gumilyov Eurasian National University, culturologist, political strategist Abylaykhan Kalnazarov.

On October 20, 2023, an international conference on the topic of "Family- the Basis of Sustainable Demographic Development of Kazakhstan” took place in Astana. Students majoring in Sociology, Social Work, and Religious Studies participated in this scientific event. The conference addressed pressing issues concerning the demographic situation in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Presenters shared the results of their research, focusing on the causes of phenomena such as population aging, youth population growth, migration, and more.

On October 29, 2023, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University Temirov Kuanysh Umirzakovich held an open curatorial hour "Rules of behavior in the dormitory" for students living in the dormitory No. 3 of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
