On April 6th, 2018 Menlibekova Gulbakhyt a Professor of the Department of "Social Pedagogy and Self-knowledge" and doctoral candidate Seidina Moldir participated in the international scientific and practical conference "New Humanitarian Knowledge in Military Special Education Institutions", conducted on the basis of the Academy of Law Enforcement of the Office of the Prosecutor-General of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On April 5, 2018 at the Faculty of social sciences of L.N. Gumilev ENU there took place the scientific and practical seminar on a subject: "The place of a symptom in family system", organized by "Social pedagogics and self-knowledge" department within a Decade of science with the purpose of systematization of scientific knowledge of practice of work with families.

Students of the third year of specialty 5B012300- "Social pedagogy and self-knowledge" ENU named after L.N. Gumilyova Kretyakova Natalia, Elibay Saltanat, Abdimajit Moldir who are currently studying for academic mobility at the Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after M. Akmulla (RF) took part and took 2nd place at the all-Russian republican olympiad of scientific and student works in the field of drug abuse prevention.
