From February 21 to February 23, 2020 year in Cannes (France) the winner of the Togyzkumalak European Cup which was held as part of the “175th anniversary of Abay Kunanbayev” - Kundiz Esirkep and Azamat Kaydarov became champions! Kundiz Esirkep 1st year student in L.N. Eurasian National University named L.N. Gumilyov, Faculty of Social Sciences, profession «Sociology». The best athletes from the UK, Italy, Antigua and Barbuda, the Czech Republic, Ghana, Nigeria, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan took part in the competition.

To date, the solution of environmental problems in the regions is under the close attention of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the city administration. In addressing environmental issues, environmental volunteering is a priority area for modern environmental education and the formation of environmental culture of the population.

Under the guidance of SPS group curator Zhumadilova A. N. an educational event on the theme: "The study of Abay- a talisman of Kazakh people" was organized on February 27 , in celebration of the 175th anniversary of great Abay within the framework of the Week " Oldi deuge bolama aityndarshy, olmeitygyn artynda soz kaldyrgan " among the specialties of Department of "Social pedagogy and self-knowledge" .

As part of external academic mobility, a student of the Department of Religious Studies Nurzhau Alua is studying at St. Petersburg State University in the spring semester 2019/2020 academic year.
