The day of the sociologist originated in France in 1901, since then it is celebrated at the Department of Sociology

On October 11, in the Sociology Department of the Faculty of Social Sciences, a presentation of the next issue of the magazine "Global Dialogue" in the Kazakh language was held within the week dedicated to the day of sociologists.

November 10, 2017 senior lecturer of the Department of Sociology Kuatova A.S. in secondary schools №28 and №30 of Astana city conducted a training seminar on career counseling for parents of graduating class students on the topic «Choice of profession».
