June 27, 2018 with in the walls of the Eurasian National University named after Gumilev, the second year undergraduates took a public defense: Meirambek Bespayev, Zagipa Imangazieva, Ayakuz Serik, Mira Zhumaksanova specialty "Culturology". The rector of the University Yerlan Sydykov, members of the state certification committee, dean of the faculty, B.Kashkinbai, attended the public defense and the head of the chair of Garifolla Yesim.

On June 21-22, 2018, Gulbakht Menlibekova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Self-Cognition, took part in the training seminar "Effective Technologies for Developing a New Model of the Textbook" conducted by the Scientific and Practical Center "Textbook"

On June 7-8, 2018, Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Self-knowledge, Menlybekova Gulbakhyt and PhD candidate Seidina Moldir participated in the Eurasian Forum of Leaders of Higher Education at the Nazarbayev University. The forum aimed at bringing together education stakeholders to share their ideas and engage in lively debates on issues that higher education leaders are facing worldwide.
