November 31, 2018 At the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Department of Physical Education and Sport organized and conducted a seminar - the “Say NO to Drugs” training for FCS students of 1,2,3 courses as part of the annual action on drug prevention. The purpose of this event: to attract the attention of students and the public to the problem of drug addiction among young people.

October 20, 2018 in Hong Kong hosted the Asian championship for aquatrine among boys. The Championship was attended by athletes from 8 countries, including ENU student. L. N. Gumilev, faculty of social Sciences of the specialty "Physical culture and sport" of the group FKS-22 Konysbai Daryn and became the champion of Asia on equation among juniors, the bronze prize-winner among men. Daryn executed standards of masters of sports of triathlon.

In the Eurasian National University after L.N. Gumilyov, in the framework of the program article “Рухани Жаңғыру” in the direction of the humanities, the presentation of the translated book by the American authors David G. Myers and Jean Tuenge “Social Psychology” was held, which was translated by the authors of the Department of Social Pedagogics and Self- actualization, under the guidance of Professor, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences K.K. Shalgynbaeva.

In October 25-26, 2018 Kadisha Shalgynbayeva, the doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, head of the department of social pedagogy and self-knowledge participated in the X International Research-to-Practice Conference «Next generation schools».
