In order to update the environmental movement for the youth of our university, a lecture was held with UNDP Project Manager Alexander Bely (a member of the Public Environmental Council of Astana).

As part of the Experimental Psychology course (lecturer Gitihmaeva LM), students of the Psychology-22 group passed online training at the Moscow Open University on the course “Introduction to Practical Testing” and received certificates confirming the successful completion of these courses.

On December 21, 2017, within the work of the “One Hour about Academic Honesty among the Youth”conversations, meetings with students, and discussions on these issues took place at the Faculty of Social Sciences.

During 2018 in the dissertation council on the humanities, education at the department of social pedagogics and self-knowledge of the Eurasian National University named L. N. Gumilyov 5 doctoral candidates successfully defended and received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

The 2nd International Congress of World Scientists among Turkic-speaking countries united 760 professors and scientists from 13 countries. The Republic of Kazakhstan at this event was represented by the Head of the Department of Sociology of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Otar Elmira Sәkenkyzy. During the Congress, current issues in the field of socio-economic, political, cultural and educational processes of the Turkic-speaking countries were discussed at 91 sessions.
