The 12th Republican Subject Olympiad in Religion and Theology among students of higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2019-2020 academic year was held in Nur-Mubarak.

On October 26, 2020 this year on the basis of the Department of Religious Studies of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University a scientific seminar was held jointly with the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University www.kaznu.kz!

In 2020, the professional pedagogical practice of doctoral students of the Department of Religious Studies of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Eurasian National University was conducted online due to the pandemic. Despite some difficulties, doctoral students, together with teachers, have successfully conducted teaching practice.
