On February 5, 2018, the curator of the SPS-32 group Acting Associate Professor Kuanysh Umirzakovich Temirov, Candidate of Sciences conducted an excursion of the university for the BSPU named after M. Akmulla students studying under the program of academic mobility, visiting the office of Lev Nikolaevich Gumilyov’s museum and the monument to Kultegin.

Within the framework of the international project "Strengthening of educational programs in Social Work, from January 30 to February 2, 2018 in the city of Aktau LN Gumilyov ENU and the UNICEF office in the Republic of Kazakhstan, another cascade seminar was organized for social workers in public health, education and social protection, prosecutors, juvenile police, KUIS. Juvenile judges, specialists of the Adaptation Center for Minors and the Guardianship and Guardianship Authorities of Mangistau Oblast, and in addition, vocational guidance was conducted among participants and schoolchildren in Aktau.

23 Jan Otyrar library hosted a seminar for the teaching staff of the Department "Philosophy" . The seminar was conducted by doctor of philosophical Sciences, Professor, Academician of NAS RK, and head of the Department of philosophy Garifolla Esim.

The largest in Central Asia international education fair “International education fair 2018” took place on January 20, 21 in Astana with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
