The first year student ENU named by L.N. Gumilyov which studies in “Sociology” educational program Karlygash Zhangarina won the title of the second vice-miss in the competition “Miss Astana 2019”.

As you know, by decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 2020 is called the year of the Volunteer. In this regard, and in order to develop volunteering at the university, the club of environmental volunteering was opened at the faculty of social sciences of the university. The opening was attended by Vice-Rector for Welfare Development D. Kamzabekuly, Vice-Rector for Research Work Merzadinova G.T., Head of the Department of Scientific and Technical Programs A. Moldakhmetova, representatives of the Center for Youth Policy, staff of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Self-Knowledge, students, undergraduates and doctoral PhD students from different faculties of the University.

On December 25, 2019, in order to popularize the message of President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan, `` A constructive public dialogue - the basis of stability and prosperity of Kazakhstan '', the winner of the Republican contest `` THE BEST MAGAZINE OF KAZAKHSTAN '' - 2019 was the winner of the diploma of the 1st degree.

A meeting of the Public Council of the basic organization of CIS States on environmental education was held in Minsk. The meeting was coordinated by the A. D. Sakharov international state environmental Institute of the Belarusian state University.
