May, 31 - June, 1, 2018 - The international academic and research conference “The lifelong learning for the sustainable development: new challenges” has taken place on the basis of the National Academy of Education named after Y. Altynsarin of MES RK. The organizers of the conference: the National Academy of Education named after Y. Altynsarin, Nazarbaev University, Institute of lifelong learning, UNESCO (Germany, Hamburg), the Kazan (Volga) Federal university (Russia, Kazan), UNESCO/UNEVOK center at the education university of Hong Kong, National Institute of Education (Belarus, Minsk), Education Academy of Tajikistan (Dushanbe).

June 1, 2018 the next meeting of the department "Philosophy" was held. Teachers, undergraduates and students took part in the meeting. According to the agenda, the senior teacher A.A. Kenzheev, responsible for the social-educational work of the department, reported on the work done throughout the year.

In the period from May 19 to May 25, 2018, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of SPS Dlimbetova G.K. gave lectures to the undergraduates of the Methodology Department of Education and Upbringing of the Institute of Psychology and Education of the Kazan (Privolzhsky) Federal University on the theme "Systemic and Practical-Oriented Content of the Ecologization of Vocational Education" (20 hours). A special approach to solving this problem, according to the lecturer, is to modernize public consciousness, which is being solved in Kazakhstan at the state level. In this aspect, Kazakh and Tatar students' youth are brought together by common spiritual and moral ideas about nature and attitude towards it, laid down in Turkic philosophy. This idea is undoubtedly promoted by a teacher who is not indifferent to the environment.

The Department of Sociology of the Faculty of Social Sciences held the presentation of the first issue of the Kazakh version of the Journal of the International Sociological Association "Global Conflict" for 2018, organized by Ph.D., Associate Professor Bayan Smagambet. The magazine has been published in Kazakh language since 2015. Until now, students and undergraduates who are fluent in English have joined the initiative group engaged in the translation of the jpurnal into the Kazakh language.
