On the 25th of September, the dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Somzhurek Baubek met with Ponomarev Semyon and Ponomareva Tatyana, 2nd year masters of the double-diploma program "7М01103-Pedagogy and Psychology" together with the Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after M. Akmulla, Ufa, Russian Federation, within the framework of the university of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization at the Department of Social Pedagogy and self-cognition, where they discussed the advantages and features of the educational program, as well as talk over about the educational process.

Meirkulova Aida Bakytbekovna, a lecturer at the Department of Social Pedagogy and Self-Knowledge, defended her doctoral dissertation and successfully completed her doctoral studies at Gazi University.

Students of the 3rd and 4th courses of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the L. N. Gumilyov ENU with the support of the Council of Young Scientists took part in the V Asian Student Forum "Kyrgyzstan-Asia 2021".

September 18, 2021 senior lecturer of the Department of Religious Studies Timur Talgatovich Aimukhambetov participated in an international conference on "The State of Buddhism in East and Southeast Asia" in online format by Zoom. The conference was organized by Dongguk University, one of the oldest universities in the Republic of Korea.

On September 15-18, 2021 Nauryz Gainizhamal, a student of religious studies department, took part in the V Asian Student Forum "Kyrgyzstan-Asia 2021". The event was held at the Jusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University.
