On April 4, 2018 members of intellectual club "Piramida" carried out a round table on the subject "Science and Religion" with participation of a naiba-mufta of Muslims Spiritual Administration of Kazakhstan (MSAK), PhD Alau Shaykhymuly Adilbayev, teachers of department and students. Alau Shaykhymuly acquainted students with the principle of "The double book". Discussed about work of standardization of production Halal and increase in demand for production Halal in the country.

April 04, 2018 within the framework of the Decade of Science at the Eurasian National University. L.N. Gumilev hosted a scientific seminar under the guidance of the Doctor of Philosophy, Professor of the Chair of Philosophy Kulshat Medeuova on the topic "Places of Memory in Kazakhstan". The seminar was attended by teachers, students, undergraduates.

On March 30, 2018, the annual event "Vacancies Fair-2018" was held in the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, at the Faculty of Architecture and Construction. Representatives of various organizations, companies and enterprises of Kazakhstan were invited to the Fair.

On April 4, 2018 at "Social pedagogics and self-knowledge" department at L.N. Gumilyov ENU within "Decade of science-2018" the scientific and practical seminar on the subject "Modernization of content of the higher and postgraduate professional education in the Republic of Kazakhstan" has been held. Seminar’s purpose: actualization and systematization of fundamental knowledge on modernization of the content of the higher and postgraduate professional education.

On April, 2 on the World day of dissemination of information on autism problem within the Decade of science at "Social Pedagogics and Self-knowledge" department at L.N. Gumilev ENU the Meeting of undergraduates, doctoral candidates, students and teachers of the Department with scientists of Nazarbayev University has taken place: assistant-professor to Sociology of the School of Humanitarian and Social sciences Sofia An, assistant-professor of the Medical Genetics of School of Medicine Chi Kai Chang.
