The curatorial hour at the museum named after L.N. Gumilyov

On February 5, 2018, the curator of the SPS-32 group Acting Associate Professor Kuanysh Umirzakovich Temirov, Candidate of Sciences conducted an excursion of the university for the BSPU named after M. Akmulla students studying under the program of academic mobility, visiting the office of Lev Nikolaevich Gumilyov’s museum and the monument to Kultegin.

The aim of the curatorial hour is to spread and propagate the ideas of Eurasianism, to form the cultural, moral and aesthetic personality of the student by cultivating an active civic position, developing a sense of patriotism, and pride for the achievements of the university.

 

Head of the L.N. Gumilyov museum-office Symbat Mutalapkhanovna Akhmetova told the students about the biography, scientific work of the outstanding historian-ethnologist, the Doctor of Historical and Geographical sciences, the most prominent representative of the Eurasian scientific direction Lev Nikolaevich Gumilyov, as well as about the museum-office exhibits: photographs, personal belongings, documents, letters related to life and the activities of L.N. Gumilyov.
