The framework of the psychological laboratory of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Self-Knowledge, a scientific and practical seminar was held: "Integration of children with special needs into the normative educational environment", organized by PhD, Associate Professor Mambetalina A.S. and Ph.D., associate professor Valieva A.B.

At 5 December 2017, a senior lecturer in sociology, PhD Isahanova Assel Alimkhanovna held an open curatorial hour in curatorial group SR – 21.

On the basis of the branch of the department of social pedagogy and self-knowledge, at school-gymnasium №80 in Astana, candidate of psychological sciences, docent Valiyeva A.B. held a consultation for the psychologist Саrimsacova S. on the projective diagnosis of adolescents.

On the 6th of December at the Department of Sociology ENU after L.N. Gumilev passed the master class on the topic: "Social deviations: theory, case class, eco map in social work".

On November 27-30, within the framework of the international project "Strengthening of educational programs in the specialty" Social Work ", the Department of Sociology jointly with the UNICEF agency in the Republic of Kazakhstan held an autumn school among representatives of state and law enforcement bodies and between teachers of universities in Kazakhstan, development and implementation of educational programs in the specialty "5B / 6M090500 - Social Work".
