On November 14, 2020 the Department of “Social Pedagogy and Self-Knowledge” held a meeting, where the main issue was the approval of doctoral dissertations, scientific consultants and foreign consultants of doctoral students, who received an additional grant for specialties 8D08123 – “Social Pedagogy and Self-Knowledge”, 8D01103 – “Pedagogy and Psychology”.

Today, January 18, at the Department of sociology of the L.N.Gumilev Eurasian national University started the first stage of online training of trainers (ToT) in the framework of a joint project with UNICEF and the Ministry of labour and social protection of population «Strengthening national curricula for the training and further training of social work specialists in the main competences of interaction and cooperation with the community with the aim of changing social norms of behaviour». The project is implemented in partnership with the Columbia University School of Social Work, the Center for Global Health Research in Central Asia (USA, New York), and the National Alliance of Professional Social Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
