EMPLOYMENT
One of the priorities in the activities of the department is to promote the successful employment of graduates. The Department of Philosophy systematically carries out information and explanatory work with graduates of educational programs, employers, practitioners are invited to meet with alumni and provide advice, round tables, seminars, and webinars are organized.
At the Department of Philosophy, conversations are held with graduates, during which students are timely informed about the programs «Youth practice», «With a diploma - to the village!» and get acquainted with the obligations of young specialists trained on the basis of a state grant / order.
On a constant basis, the Eurasian National University holds a «Job Fair», within the framework of which graduate students can submit their resumes to the organization according to the profile of the specialty. Employers of the Department of Philosophy take an active part in the «Job Fairs» organized at the L.N. Gumilyov ENU in the following areas: «Education, Humanities, Law, Art, Social Sciences, Economics and Business Services», including KISI, N.A. Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Intercivilizational Dialogue», the National Library, the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, KazNUA, S. Seyfullin KazATU and others.
For the development and improvement of educational programs, the department maintains feedback with employers. One of the forms of such communication is the organization of methodological seminars with the participation of employers to discuss the EP. Employers are also involved in teaching at the department as part-time professors. Employers are systematically surveyed about the quality of graduates' training - the level of their professionalism, competence, applied skills and abilities required in professional activity. Feedback from employers on the graduates of educational programs often shows a high level of quality of their training and contains a positive assessment of the work and professional qualities of graduates. In addition, with the assistance of the Department of Career and Business Partnerships, surveys of the graduates themselves are organized for satisfaction in conducting «Information and explanatory work on the procedure for working out in accordance with the norms of the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan for students on the basis of a state educational order.»
In connection with the transition to online training, seminars and webinars on the Microsoft Teams, ZOOM platforms have been held in recent years, in particular, on February 23, 2021, a university-wide seminar-meeting «Professional practice and employment: state and prospects» is planned with the participation of employers.
All graduates are in high demand in the labor market and carry out labor activities in higher educational institutions, colleges, research, scientific and analytical institutions and departments, government agencies, management institutions, public funds. Some students continue their studies, entering MA courses and doctoral studies.
Graduates of the department work at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan – chief specialist Ruslan Kadraliev, at the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Investigations (KISI) - chief specialist Bektenova Madina, at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan - expositioner Alibay Amangul, in the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - senior researcher Azerbaev Aslan, at KazATU named after A. Seifullin - teachers of the Department of Philosophy Alzhanova Gaukhar, Sadykova Torgyn, at the College of Management (teacher Shonayeva Moldir).
In addition, graduates of the EP «Philosophy» and «Cultural studies» are employed in the N.A. Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Intercivilizational Dialogue «, the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, universities - KazNUA, M.Auezov SKSU, M. Utemisov Western Kazakhstan State University and others.
The pride of the department can be called the graduates of EP 6M020400 «Cultural studies» - Besbayev Meyrambek, Nurtas Kayrat. Didar Amantai, the modern Kazakhstani postmodernist writer, completed MA course in Philosophy in 2016. Kyuishi-improvisers Aibek Bekbosyn and Kairat Aytbaev are 2019 MA course graduates in the EP «Cultural studies».
