The main goal of the Department's international activity development program is to increase international cooperation to ensure the Department's competitiveness in the educational market and increase its international reputation as a research center; to provide high-quality education that meets the requirements for science and education in the modern world. In order to strengthen international relations, the Department establishes international relations with foreign higher education institutions, exchanges experience, participates in conferences and seminars, and concludes bilateral agreements to integrate into the world educational space.
The Department cooperates with CIS research centers: Moscow State University, Institute of psychotherapy and clinical psychology (Moscow), Saint Petersburg State University, Barnaul state Pedagogical University, Tomsk State University, Tashkent state pedagogical University. Nizami, the international Academy of psychological Sciences (Yaroslavl, Russia), University named. A. Ionna internal migrants ' settlements around the city of Iasi. Over the past 3 years, the Department's teachers have participated in national and international conferences in Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, and the United Arab Emirates.
In the academic year 2020-2021, lectures for first-year doctoral and master's students in the disciplines "Theory and methodology of psychology" and "Methodology of psychology of pedagogical activity" are given by the doctor of psychological Sciences, Professor of the Moscow state University of psychology – Director of scientific and educational activities of the publishing house "Link-Press", scientific consultant of the magazine "Hoop", member of the Council of the Moscow psychological society, Board of the philosophical society "Dialectics and culture", editorial boards of the magazines" Cultural and historical psychology"," Psychological and pedagogical research", " Vestnik RSUH. Every year, the department holds an International scientific and practical conference "Psychology of human health in a globalizing world". The 2020 conference was dedicated to the 1150th anniversary of Abu Nasir al-Farabi, the 175th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayuly and the 70th anniversary of S. M. Dzhakupov

The project is aimed at introducing a modified content of research training of preschool education specialists, developed on the basis of integrating foreign experience with positive national traditions of higher education in Kazakhstan.
In modern realities, research training is an important component of quality education, however, in practice, there is insufficient training of university graduates to conduct research for professional purposes. In particular, the skills of academic writing, critical analysis of a scientific text, organization and conduct of psychological and pedagogical research and registration of results are poorly formed.
The fundamental difference between the project idea and the existing analogues is that for the first time, a methodologically based modification of the research training of preschool education specialists will be proposed for universities in Kazakhstan, based on the successful experience of leading universities in Finland, while preserving the positive national traditions of Kazakhstan. A modified educational and methodological support for research training in the direction "6B012-Pedagogy of preschool education and training"will be developed.
The results of the research project will serve as an experimental model for similar studies in other areas of training and levels of education.
This study was funded by the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2020-2021).
