April 15-16, 2021 at the L.N. Gumilyov ENU passed the second stage of the XIII Republican Subject Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the educational program "Culturology". This Olympiad was held as part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU and timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, five teams from universities in the city took part in Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Karaganda and Pavlodar.
Taking into account the quarantine regime, the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU for the first time in an original way held the Olympiad in an online format on the basis of the Instagram account of the Philosophy Department (https://clck.ru/UMyri) and the Microsoft Teams corporate application of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU (https://www.microsoft.com). To exchange information with the jury and teams, the Organizing Committee has successfully used specially created Whatsapp chats.
The organization and time management of the Olympiad, the conditions created for the work of the jury and participants, the content and types of tasks were highly appreciated by the international jury, participants and guests. Department of Philosophy was able to flawlessly withstand the requirements of scientific academicism and modern technology, showing a high level of professionalism and reaffirming the status of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU as the leading research university in the country.
Following the results of the two-day Republican Subject Olympiad, the jury recognized the following teams and their members as winners of the XIII Republican Subject Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the educational program "Culturology" and nominated them for diplomas of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
I place - the team «Zhana Eurasia» of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU. Team captain: Sadvokasov Maksat Adilbekovich, team members Aliev Marat Mukhtarovich and Karim Auliekhan Kazbekovich.
The second place was taken by two teams. This is the team «Renaissance» al-Farabi KazNU, captain Doszhan Altynai, team members Nazira Nabieva, Erbosyn Aruzhan, and the «Adal Urpak» team of Toraigyrov University, team captain Turlybekova Munira Turlybekovna, team members Salakhan Anel Muratovna, Moldabayeva Aidana Ardakovna.
Two teams took the third place. This is the team of the E.A. Buketov Karaganda University «Cultural travelers», captain Amina Gelmundinova and member Sirman Anton, and the team of L.N. Gumilyov ENU «Zhastar», captain Azatkyzy Alfiya and team members Orazaeva Aigerim, Turebaeva Zhadyry. In addition, on behalf of the rector of L.N. Gumilyov ENU E.B. Sydykov, the winning teams were awarded diplomas, the participants received certificates, and the team leaders received letters of thanks.
Summing up, we note that 2021 is a very fruitful and successful year for the Department of Philosophy. For example, on April 9-10 this year, prepared by the Department of Philosophy for participation in the XIII Republican subject student Olympiad in the specialty «Philosophy» at the E.A. Buketov Karaganda University team «Temirkazyk» took the first place, the team «Humanists» won in the nomination «For firmness and diligence» (https: //info.ksu. Kz /? P = 19100 & lang = kk).
As a result, in 2022, the right to hold the XIV Republican Subject Olympiads among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the specialties "Culturology" and "Philosophy" was granted to the L.N. Gumilyov ENU.
