On May 24, 2019, within the framework of the 19th International Scientific Conference “Sakharov Readings 2019: Environmental Problems of the XXI Century”, the regular meeting of the Public Council of the basic organization of the CIS member states on environmental education was held (link to the news posted on the website http://www.iseu.bsu.by/2019/05/zasedanie-obshhestvennogo-soveta-2/).
According to the Plan of work of the Public Council for 2019, the intermediate results of work on the preparation of the collective monograph “Values and Meanings of Sustainable Development in the Content of Academic Disciplines”, on the development of the publication “Conceptual and terminological dictionary of environmental education for sustainable development” were discussed. Information on the holding of an international essay competition for teachers “Pedagogical Heritage of N. N. Moiseeva”, on the results of the XIV Forum of the Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the CIS, held on May 14-17, 2019 in Ashgabat (Republic of Tajikistan) was also announced. The information about the “International Scientific and Technical Conference “Safety in the Technosphere ”(Safety 2019) and about the XV International Scientific and Technical Conference“ Science, Education, Production in Solving Environmental Problems ”ECOLOGY-2019” was presented.
Information was also announced about the international competition-essay for teachers "Pedagogical heritage N. N. Information on holding the international competition essay for teachers "Pedagogical heritage of N.N. Moiseyev", about results of the XIV Forum of the creative and scientific intellectuals of the CIS which passed on May 14-17, 2019 to Ashgabat (Republic of Tajikistan) was also announced. Information about "The international scientific and technical conference "Safety in a Technosphere" (Safety of 2019) and about holding the XV International scientific and technical EKOLOGIYA-2019 conference "Science, Education, Production in the Solution of Environmental Problems"" is provided.
Members of Public Council from Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan and others participated in a meeting. From the Kazakhstan side professor of L.N. Gumilyov ENU Dlimbetova G.K. accepted in work of the meeting (http://ecoedu-cis.iseu.bsu.by/sostav-obshhestvennogo-soveta/). She suggested the participation of scientists, educators, practitioners, young scientists of the CIS countries in upcoming events held under the project " Greening of a High School Education System as Innovative Way of Modernization of Spiritual Consciousness of Students."
Following the results of a meeting the decision to approve work on implementation of the Action Plan of the Public Council of the basic organization in the current year is made and with the support of Executive committee of the CIS to participate in the VI Congress of teachers and educators of the CIS Member States which venue defined the Republic of Tajikistan, Dushanbe.
