On the basis of the Russian Academy of Education (RAO, Moscow) with the support of the United Nations educational, scientific and cultural Organization and the UNESCO chair on global education the international scientific and practical conference "Educational space in the information age" was held.
The reports of the leading scientists of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Moscow State Pedagogical University, Athens Open University (Greece) and others were presented at the conference.
Main topics of the conference:
- formation of educational space: social, economic, geopolitical, socio-cultural conditions.
- scientific and humanitarian education in the post-industrial era;
- information and educational environment of the modern University.
From the Kazakhstan side, Dlimbetova G.K., doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor of department of social pedagogics and self-knowledge of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University made a presentation in this event. Topic of the report: "The formation of students' eco-cultural readiness through national values and ethnic traditions." The report focuses on the cultural aspect of the modernization of the environmental consciousness of young people in the framework of the program of spiritual revival of the society of Kazakhstan “Ruhani Zhangyru”. In particular, the presentation was aimed at revealing the role of national values and ethnic traditions of the Kazakhs in the formation of eco-integral personality.
At the conference, Professor G.K. Dlimbetova also presented the second report on the theme “The Goals of Sustainable Development and Priorities for the Transformation of the Ecological and Educational Space” (together with Russian scientists and PhD student S. U. Abenova). The speeches included conceptual positions of the scientific project “Ecologization of the university education system as an innovative way of modernization the spiritual consciousness of students”.
According to the results of the conference for the active participation and constructive proposals in the formation of the international eco-educational space, contributing to the development of joint research, Professor Dlimbetova G.K. and PhD student Abenova S.U. were awarded certificates on behalf of the leadership of the Russian Academy of Education.
