On February 26, the Friendship House in Almaty hosted a scientific and practical conference on "New challenges and risks in the religious sphere and improvement of methods and approaches in deradicalization of supporters of extremist youth". The conference was held in a mixed mode, organized by the IFPRI of the RK Ministry of Education and Science and the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai.
Senior Lecturer Timur Talgatovich Aimukhambetov attended this conference from the Department of Religious Studies. The conference was successfully held and interesting speeches were made.
