On May 26, 2021 a round table "Repressions in Kazakhstan in the 20-30s of XX century: problems of rehabilitation" was held within the framework of the State Commission for the Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repressions, organized by the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies of the Committee of Science of the MES. The head of the working group on rehabilitation of victims of political repressions - representatives of the traditional clergy, Professor Satershinov B. M., as well as well-known scientists such as Professor K. T. Dosai of H. A. Yassawi MKTU, Professor of Nur-Mubarak Kerim Sh. of Egyptian Islamic Culture University, Professor R. Beknazarov of Aktobe State University after K. Zhubanov and others participated in the round table.
V. Shapoval, professor at the Department of Studies of Religion of the L.N. Gumilev ENU, member of the working group made a presentation on "The Source-Base for the Rehabilitation of Christian Denominations", describing her work in the working group, the types of historical sources, focusing on examples of repressed believers who had served their sentence in the ALJIR. The round table was also attended by senior teachers Aimukhambetov T.T., Alimkulova S.B. and students of the specialty "Religious Studies" of the 2nd year.
