Terrorism and Extremism

On September 26th, a curatorial hour on the topics of "Terrorism" and "Extremism" was held for second-year students at the Department of Physical Education and Sports. It was organized by senior lecturers of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, including Bazarbayeva B.E., Mergaliev M.M., and Malkei A., as well as Rahimzhan Temirkhanuly, a senior lecturer from the Department of Religious Studies, who delivered and presented the report.

During the session, students gained a deep understanding of extremism and terrorism, including their causes and consequences. They also grasped the social, legal, and religious aspects of society, broadening their horizons in the direction of terror, terrorism, and religious extremism.

The aim was to deepen the students' prior knowledge, enable them to independently explore the topic, express their thoughts freely, think critically, and develop analytical abilities. As a result of this education, students were able to independently study the topic, learn about extremism and terrorism, enhance their abilities while working in groups, utilizing media and internet materials. They were also able to cultivate compassion for safety in daily life and the qualities of a peaceful spirit.
