On November 19, the concert dedicated to the Sociologist’s Day was organized in the assembly hall of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Eurasian National University. At this event fourth-year students of the specialty "Sociology" held a solemn ceremony "dedication to students" with first-year students. Also Deputy Dean for educational work, L. M. Gitihmaeva, and Head of the Department of Sociology, E.S. Otar made a congratulatory speech.
The event was held in the format of team games for teachers, humorous scenes and concert numbers.

Recall that every year on November 14, sociologists celebrate their professional holiday - the International Sociologist Day. The tradition of celebration came to us from Russia, where this holiday was first celebrated on November 14, 1994 at St. Petersburg State University.
