From 27.08 to 04.09 in Istanbul (Turkey) the World Championship in equipment powerlifting was held, in which a 1st year student of the Faculty of Social Sciences of L.N. Gumilyova, studying in the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports" Ablaeva Ninel.
517 athletes from 36 national teams took part in these high-ranking competitions. Our Ninel became the silver medalist of the world championship in the weight category up to 52 kg with a result of 330 kg and fulfilled the qualification standard "Master of Sports".
And 07.09 to 11.09 Ablaeva Ninel took part in the Asian Championship in classic and equipment bench press, held in Mongolia, the city of Ulaanbaatar. 217 athletes from 7 national teams competed for the championship in individual competitions. Ninel was the best in both types of the program, winning first place with a result of 70 kg in the equipment bench press and, becoming the first in the classic bench press with a result of 60 kg, she won the Asian Championship. In Ninel's piggy bank, 2 gold medals were added.
