On May 22, a joint online session of the Public Council of the CIS Basic Organization for Environmental Education was held in Minsk. The joint session was coordinated by the International Sakharov Environmental Institute of Belarusian State University (hereinafter - the Council). Theme of the session: “Discussion of the interim results of the implementation of the Public Council Action Plan for 2020”. The meeting was attended by members of the Council, scientists and experts from Belarus, Russia, and Moldova. The meeting was opened by the Director of the International Sakharov Environmental Institute of Belarusian State University, the chairman of the Council, Professor S. Maskevich.
From the Kazakh side, this event was attended by member of the Council, Professor of the Department of social pedagogy and self-knowledge of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University - Dlimbetova G. K., PhD students- Abenova S., Sandibekova A., Master’s student- Akimish D. In turn, Professor G. Dlimbetova reported on the results of the international conference "GREEN UNIVERSITY-University of the XXI CENTURY".
The participants discussed new approaches to designing the content of environmental education, Participants of the meeting also expressed great interest in expanding inter-University relations in priority areas within the framework of the Public Council.
