Cooperation between the Institute of Pedagogical Sciences of the University of Yeditepe and the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Gumilyov Eurasian national university

3 November 2021 Department of Social Pedagogy and Self-Knowledge Faculty of Social Sciences Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov had an online meeting with the vice-rector of Yeditepe University Yeşim Ekinci, Director of the Institute of Pedagogical Sciences Munire Yerden and professor of the Institute Yelkin Diker Coşkun.

During the meeting, on our part addressed a meeting the Director of the Department for Academic Affairs Kashkynbai B.B., Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Somzhurek B.Zh., Head of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Self-Knowledge Asylbekova M.P.

This was the first online meeting of the ENU L.N. Gumilyov and Editepe University. Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Somzhurek B.Zh. gave a welcome address and noted that Eurasian national university actively cooperates with Turkish universities in many scientific and educational areas. For the department of social pedagogy and self-knowledge, the Institute of Pedagogical Sciences of the Yeditepe University will be the first Turkish university partner in the framework of a double-degree program, as well as our department for the Turkish side.

 

  

 

As a reminder, Yeditepe University is a private university located in Istanbul, Turkey. Founded by the Istanbul Education and Culture Foundation (Turkish: İstanbul Eğitim ve Kültür Vakfı, İSTEK Vakfı) in 1996. All academic programs are offered in English, with the exception of the Political Science and International Relations program in French, the Business Administration program in German, and the Art and Design program in Italian. Currently, Yeditepe University has signed student exchange protocols and memorandum of understanding with more than 30 US universities and is actively involved in the development of the ERASMUS / SOCRATES program with European higher education institutions. Yeditepe has signed an education agreement with the International University of Geneva.
