On May 26-27, 2023, an important international scientific and theoretical conference was held at the Nukus branch of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports. The topic of the conference was "Actual problems of training specialists with higher education in modern conditions." The event attracted participants from various countries in two formats: offline and online. The conference discussed the key roles of reforms in the system of higher education and developed the foundations of organizational, socio-economic and scientific and methodological directions for the future development of this area. As a result, innovative approaches to improving the system of higher education were identified. The central event of the conference was the speech of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports Marchibaeva Ulbosyn Sametkhanovna. She presented the report "Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in the field of physical education". This report emphasized the importance of international cooperation in the field of higher education and the role of interaction between universities and allied organizations of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Joint projects with foreign partners, carried out within the framework of programs of international organizations and foundations, help to expand the boundaries of cooperation and increase international competitiveness. Currently, the universities of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are intensifying joint efforts in the field of academic mobility, creating opportunities for the exchange of knowledge and experience, which in turn leads to an increase in the quality of education.
