Development of international cooperation in pedagogical education of ENU as part of the UNESCO Roadmap

          The International Forum "Education - 2030. Roadmap" was held on the basis of the Institute for Development Strategy of the Russian Academy of Education. This event was organized jointly with the L.N. Gumilyov, the Public Council of the Basic Organization for Environmental Education of the CIS countries, the UNESCO Chair for the Study of Global Problems and Emerging Social and Ethical Challenges for Big Cities and Their Populations, Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov together with its Partnership "Environmental Education for Sustainable Development in the Global World" "Institute of Education Development Strategy of the Russian Academy of Education", Non-Governmental Environmental Foundation named after V.I. Vernadsky (Moscow). 

            Issues of humanization of the content of general education, integrated culturological results of education, philosophical, pedagogical, psychological, didactic, ecological approaches to the formation of a culture of sustainable development, environmental and cultural literacy, joint international professional orientation in the teaching profession were considered at the international scientific and practical conference "Education - 2030. Road map".

On behalf of ENU, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs E.A. Ongarbaev made a welcoming speech. It was noted in the report that today our university is dynamically developing international cooperation in the field of education for sustainable development. The task of our university is to preserve its identity, cultural traditions, to introduce the best world experience into the education system of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerkin Anuarovich noted in his speech. The university administration thanked the foreign experts who attended the conference for the positive assessment of the activities of our university, which helped the university to rise even higher in the QS World Universities ranking.

Then the Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation of L.N. Gumilyov ENU G.T. Merzadinov made a welcoming speech and specific proposals. In her speech, the vice-rector paid attention to the fact that today the Republic of Kazakhstan has embarked on the path to the development of a "green" economy. And for the implementation of the ideas of a "green" economy, it is necessary to develop innovative universities with an ecological content of education, including training for a "green" economy and the commercialization of scientific activities. Gulnara Tynyshbaevna also noted that on the way to a green university, these ideas are embedded in the strategy of our university.    

            Further, from our university the professor of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Self-Knowledge GK Dlimbetova made a presentation to famous scientists in the field of environmental and pedagogical education. and PhD candidate A. Sandibekova, where they tested the developed project of a model of pedagogical management of a green university at ENU. The presentation of our researchers aroused great interest on the part of scientists who proposed the joint development of this area in the international project of the UNESCO network partnership. 

            ENU was also represented at the conference by young scientists, doctoral students, undergraduates of our university - PhD Abenova S.U., Moldabekova S.K., Akimish D., Arzymbetova D. and others.

            The results of the conference were an agreement on the conclusion of Memorandums of international cooperation in the pedagogical direction.
