Conducting research work in the social sciences

On October 29, 2021, a meeting was held within the framework of the project “Guest of the Council of Young Scientists of L.N. Gumilyov "on the topic" Conducting research work in the social sciences. "

The meeting was attended by: members of the council of young scientists of the Faculty of Social Sciences, students of the specialties "Religious Studies", "Social Work", "Pedagogy", "Psychology" and "Sociology" of ENU (bachelors, masters, doctoral students), authoritative scientists of the country, Head of the department "sociology", PhD, associate professor — Nurlan Baigabylov and Candidate of philology, Associate professor of the department "Religious Studies" — Kenshilik Tyshkhan.

 The scientists were asked the following and other questions: "What is the difference between research work in the social sciences and other sciences? What do you need to know and be able to conduct research work? Is theory important or empirical? The value, passion and complexity of being a scientist?". During the event, the participants received answers and positively assessed the importance of meetings in this format.
