On February 9, 2023, 8 teams took part in the i-stage of the XV Republican intra-university student subject Olympiad under the educational program «Philosophy». The Olympiad was divided into 4 rounds.
Round 1 consisted of 2 parts. In the first part, a video story was prepared depending on the name of the team. In the 2nd part of the 1st round, there was a presentation and greeting of the team in an offline format.
Round 2. Theoretical round (offline testing). Each participant of the team passed the test, indicating the name of the team and the name of the participant. Each team member was asked questions in a different version, consisting of 20 questions. Within 15 minutes, 20 questions were answered, including 7 in Kazakh, 7 in Russian, and 6 in English.
Round 3. Homework. Research project protection (offline). The theme of the research project was chosen in advance by the team leaders by lot, and the teams defended their research projects through a presentation.
Round 4. Captains competition. The team captains were given excerpts from the texts of the works of 11 scientists in 3 languages, the team captain presented ideas, problems, author's argumentation, projection to modernity, comparison with other approaches and ideas, conclusions to analyze and interpret the texts in the desired language.
As a result, the team «Yin-Yang» (head – Kemerbay R. A.) took the 1st place, the teams «Dawn of the sunset» (head-Mustafina T. V.) and «Themis» (head-Abdibek A.D.) took the 2nd place, and the team «Everest» (head – Ramanzharova A.M.) took the 3rd place. The active teams «Science», «New generation»,»Adam-Zat» were awarded certificates. The team leaders were awarded with letters of thanks. We wish our students prizes at the Republican Olympiad among universities!
