The head of the project Professor Assylbekova Marziya and senior researcher Baltabayeva Zhaniyat at BR18574152 "Research on current aspects and development of measures to prevent bullying against children" took part in the 31st RAIS International Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities, organized by the Research Association for Interdisciplinary Studies (RAIS), which was held in a hybrid format (in-person and online) at American University on April 6-7, 2023 in Washington, USA.
On April 7, 2023, an international conference was held in Washington as part of the project BR18574152 "Research on current aspects and development of measures to prevent bullying against children" was published jointly with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan as part of the program-targeted funding of scientific and / or scientific - technical activities for 2023-2024, according to the priority of Research in the field of education and science, which is being implemented at the Eurasian National University. L.N. Gumilyov. The purpose of this study is to improve understanding of the current situation and to study the role of bullying in schools and the prevention of this problem in educational organizations. It has also provided an opportunity for exchange between scientists and researchers from all over the world and offers them the opportunity to establish strong relationships for future collaboration.
During the presentation on the topic “Bullying among Kazakhstan school learners and overcoming strategies”, representatives of the California State University, Los Angeles (Diana Flores), Columbia University (Dr. Julia M. Puaschunder), University for Peace (Dr. Nicole McVeigh) became interested in the project and Middlesex College, International Education in North America (Dr. Sonal Pandey).
We also visited the American University School of Education and met the dean of the school of education. And they exchanged contacts for further cooperation within the framework of the educational program of doctoral and master's programs and the scientific guidance of PhD students and undergraduates.
