TEACHERS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PHILOSOPHY SPOKE AT THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE "INDEPENDENT KAZAKHSTAN: HISTORY AND MODERNITY"

Academician of the NAS RK Zhabaikhan Mubarakovich Abdildin, associate professors Ulbolsyn Sandybayeva and Dametken Tolgambayeva took part in the International scientific-practical conference "Independent Kazakhstan: history and modernity". The conference was organized by the branch of the Lomonosov Moscow State University in Kazakhstan, together with the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev and dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan and the 20th anniversary of the MSU Branch in Kazakhstan.

The moderators of the plenary session were the director of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan B. Temirbolat and the director of the MSU Branch in Kazakhstan A. Sidorovich.

The plenary session was attended by scientists, statesmen and public figures of Kazakhstan and Russia.

Report by Zh.M. Abdildin was devoted to the analysis of state independence for 30 years, the academician reflected on the development of the country and the solution of fateful problems in this historical period.

U. Sandybaeva and D. Tolgambayeva presented the report “Kazakhstan and Russia: “places of memory”, common heritage in the Kazakh cultural landscape” at the panel session “Scientific, educational, cultural ties and areas of cooperation”.

In two case studies, the authors presented the audience with common places of memory that provide a platform for ties between Kazakhstan and Russia. U. Sandybaeva's speech was dedicated to the topic of space as a common "Soviet heritage" and a global place of memory. D. Tolgambaeva presented a case related to the representation of the memory of the Great Patriotic War.

The organizers expressed gratitude to the conference participants and issued Certificates.
