Senior lecturer of the Department of Philosophy, postdoc A. Amangeldiyev took part in the international technology forum Digital Bridge 2023, organized in Astana on October 12-13.
As part of the Digital Bridge 2023 forum, a panel session «Artificial Intelligence and the Kazakh Language» was organized.
The session was attended by the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bagdat Mussin, President of the International Society «Qazaq tili» Rauan Kenzhekhanuly, Director of the National Scientific and Practical Center «Til-Qazyna» Makpal Zhumabay, IT expert, master’s student at Boston University Timur Bektur, representative of Beeline Kazakhstan Andrey Ostafichuk, IT architect in the field of analytics and artificial intelligence Sanzhar Myrzagalym, linguists, specialists in the field of IT technologies and those interested in this area.
During the session, strategies for ensuring the intelligibility of the Kazakh language for artificial intelligence were discussed. Speakers also focused on the importance of content development and implementation, which is necessary to improve the quality of AI.
During the event, postdoc A. Amangeldiyev exchanged experience with specialists working in the field of digitalization in the country and held a conversation.
