On November 5, 2021, an open educational hour on the topic "Consequences of terrorism and extremism" was held in the research library of the University, organized by the curators of the department "Social Pedagogy and Self-knowledge" Akhtanova Saltanat Kobekovna, Kuatov Azat Kadyrovich, Mutalieva Ardak Shagaevna. The moderator of the educational hour was the 2nd year graduate student of PiP Balzhan Abdieva.
Students of 1-2 courses of the educational programs "preschool education and training", "Social pedagogy and self-knowledge" and "Pedagogy and Psychology" took an active part in the event. Specially invited guests took part in an open educational hour, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Professor Nuradinov Almat Sabitovich and Master of Religious Studies Rashimbetov Rahimzhan Temirkhanovich.
A book exhibition on the theme "Extremism and terrorism - the epidemic of the century" was also organized. Slides and videos on the topic "Youth – against religious extremism and terrorism" were also demonstrated.
During the educational hour, the meaning of the terms extremism and terrorism was revealed. The students asked the guests questions, dwelt in detail on the types of extremism, and gave examples of life events.
