Senior lecturer, PhD of the Department of Social Pedagogy and self-knowledge of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Makhadiyeva Assel Karataevna delivered an online lecture on «Methods and techniques of adaptation of autistic children to the social environment» at a seminar organized at the Atyrau University named after H. Dosmukhamedov, dedicated to «April 2-World Day of Dissemination of Information about Autism». The seminar was attended by the teaching staff, students of the 3rd year of the specialty Defectology. During the seminar, Assel Karataevna made a report on promoting the adaptation of autistic children to the social environment (ABLLS-R, AFLS, PECS, etc.) I shared my practical experience. At the end of the seminar, the department offered the following guest lectures on the diagnosis of children with autism, the formation of basic skills, and also asked questions from students.
