On March 16, 2023, 3rd-year phd-student of the specialty «Cultural Studies» of the Department «Philosophy» of the Bakytova Leila held a scientific seminar on the topic of the dissertation «Soviet and Post-soviet canons and discourses in the study of the cultural landscape of Kazakhstan». Scientific adviser: Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Medeuova K.A.; foreign consultant: Professor INALCO Pujol K. (France).
The main issue of seminar is the scientific discourses of the concept «cultural landscape» among transdisciplinary disciplines and UNESCO. The problems of conceptualization of the term of different times from the formation of the Cultural Geography school to the current trends were analyzed.
The seminar was attended by doctoral students and teaching staff of the Department of Philosophy.
