On October 29, the regular scientific seminar of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Self-Knowledge was held on the Microsoft Teams platform. At the online seminar, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Seitkazy Perizat Baiteshevna made a presentation on the topic "Research culture of a doctoral student in the conditions of informatization of education." The scientific seminar was attended by the teaching staff of the department: Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor A.B.Abibullaeva, PhD, Associate Professor Zh.E. Abdykhalykova, Senior Lecturer S.K. Akhtanova, as well as doctoral students of the educational program "Pedagogy and Psychology" and "Social pedagogy and self-knowledge".
In her report, Perizat Baiteshevna spoke about the research culture of doctoral students, the requirements for the registration and registration of doctoral dissertations and the main functions of the dissertation council. She provided information on the main regulatory documents and official information resources required for research, and also noted the latest changes and additions to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Approval of the Rules for Awarding Degrees". She also explained bibliographic information systems and their work and gave a number of scientific advice to doctoral students.
Doctoral students shared their views about research culture and academic integrity. They noted the usefulness of the scientific seminar and thanked the organizers of the event.
At the end of the event, associate professor Zh.E. Abdykhalykova thanked Seitkazy Perizat Baiteshevna for a very informative presentation and invited doctoral students to continue to participate in scientific seminars, share ideas and experience.
