SCIENTIFIC SEMINAR OF DOCTORAL STUDENT MEIRAM KIKIMBAYEV

On January 26, 2023 at 12.30 at the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Social Sciences, a scientific seminar was held to discuss the dissertation work of PhD student Meiram Kikimbaev, studying Philosophy (8D02201) on the topic “Discussions about the public space: a mosque as a case of participatory space in Kazakhstan”.

Supervisor: Kulshat Medeuova - Ph.D., acting Professor of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. Foreign consultant: Adrian Fov - Professor of Paris Saclay University (Paris, France), Director of IFEAC - French Institute for Central Asian Studies (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan).

Teachers and PhD students of the department took part in the scientific seminar. PhD student Meiram Kikimbaev spoke about theoretical approaches and the degree of readiness of the dissertation, about field research conducted in the regions of Kazakhstan. During the seminar, issues of structuring, relevance and novelty of the dissertation work were discussed, following the results of the discussion, the participants gave their recommendations and suggestions.
