On March 31, 2023, a scientific seminar of doctoral student Asan Amangeldiev on the topic of the dissertation «Philosophy of Numbers» was held. Scientific supervisor – Doctor of Philology, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Garifolla Yesim; foreign consultant – PhD-Doctor, Professor of Uludag University (Turkey) Bülent Şenay.
The seminar discussed the issues of philosophical rethinking of numbers, which can become a holistic initiative in the context of the digitalization of society. Analyzing the history of the formation of numbers, the philosophical views of thinkers regarding the category of number, the significance of number as an artificial language in the development of science and technology, which is the basis of modern civilization, the social and humanitarian problems of digitalization, is analyzed.
