SCIENTIFIC TRIP OF POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCH A. AMANGELDIEV TO FINLAND AS PART OF A RESEARCH PROJECT

Post-doctoral student of the Department of Philosophy Asan Amangeldiev visited Finland from October 19 to 26 as part of the research project AP15473151 “The problem of the formation of a digital society as a condition for the development of social justice in Kazakhstan.”

The main purpose of the scientific visit is to visit the Seinijoki University of Applied Sciences, get acquainted with the scientific base of the university, meet with professors and work on research. There was also a collection of information from scientific libraries in Helsinki.

During the visit to the university, he was received by the President of the University of Applied Sciences of Seinijoki, PhD-Dr. Jaakko Hallila. The President spoke about the scientific potential of the university, about the work done and specialties in the field of digitalization. Presented specially prepared information about the university.

 

 

During the visit, meetings were held with the Head of the Communications Department of the University of Applied Sciences of Seinijoki, PhD-Dr. Eliza Cannesto, research scientists Andres Mendes, Arona Marjo, Essi Hauto, etc. During the meeting, issues of research in the field of higher education and science in Finland, issues of digitalization, the university education system were discussed.

He visited the library of the University of Applied Sciences of Seinijoki, where he got acquainted with research, scientific publications in the field of information technology, artificial intelligence and digitalization.

During the visit, he got acquainted with the scientific literature of the modern library "Oodi" and the National Library of Finland, located in Helsinki.

 

 

In general, the Finnish higher education system is divided into traditional research universities, which focus more on academic research, and universities of applied sciences, which pay more attention to work relations. Finland's education system is considered a model of success that promotes the development of 21st century skills such as cooperation, mediation, communication, creativity and critical thinking.
