On March 31, 2023, at the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Faculty of Social Sciences, a master class was held on the paralympic sport of "Playing volleyball while sitting" for students of the "Football Coach" and "Physical Education and Sports" educational programs.

The purpose of the event was to demonstrate the relevance and scientific nature of the content and methods of teaching, as well as to present new ideas that deviate from the standard methods of teaching sitting volleyball. The master class began with a congratulatory speech by the department's teachers Marchibaeva U.S. and under the leadership of Kaukhanova M.S. Athletes of the Paralympic Center and students with special needs of the DSHS-21 group - Ospanov Almat and Abeuov Medeu held a master class showing the successful integration of students with disabilities into university life.

The university actively supports the integration of students with special needs and has made a significant contribution to the development of parasports in Kazakhstan. As part of the "Football coach" and "Physical training and sports" educational programs, students attend lectures on the subject of "Adapted physical training". This makes the sport accessible to everyone.

Lectures on "adaptive physical education" are an important aspect of programs that enable students to work with people with disabilities and acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for the development of parasports in Kazakhstan. At the master class, the participants had the opportunity to watch the demonstration performances of the winners of the 2023 Kazakhstan Championship in sitting volleyball. Abeuov Medeu spoke about the rules of the game and the special feature of playing volleyball for people with disabilities.

the sport is intended for people who cannot play at full height for various reasons, and is considered for disabled people with musculoskeletal disorders, as well as healthy people with limb or spine injuries. Sitting volleyball allows you to overcome stiffness and adapt to a new society, and also expands sports opportunities.

       - It is not very easy to move with the help of legs and hands in a small area when playing volleyball while sitting. According to athletes, after a long game, sores may appear on the palms, and muscles begin to ache. But, despite all the difficulties of the game, this sport is becoming popular among people with disabilities. To the players, this game gives good emotional relief and vitality.

At the end of the event, our students tried to have a friendly meeting. He then expressed his opinion that when players need to move quickly to catch the ball, it becomes more difficult to defend. The game requires physical strength, patience, reaction speed.

At the Cup of the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held in Taraz in March, the Astana volleyball team became the champion, consisting of the master of volleyball Ospanov Almat and the captain of the Astana team Abeuov Medeu. We congratulate you and wish you new milestones.
