An internship at the capital university gives one the opportunity to get acquainted with the life of another university from the inside, expand your horizons in working with modern research methods, gain new experience and increase the level of competence in your specialty. At the beginning of February, we, undergraduates of Toraigyrov University, Pavlodar, Isabekova B.S., Eginbai B.K., Taniev R.D., completed an internship at the Department of Philosophy on educational programs of Cultural Studies and Philosophy at the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilev.
We had the opportunity to present the topics of our dissertations «New Forms of Representation in Modern Theatrical Art», «Problems of Infinity of Space», «XX gasyrdagi cinema oneri zhane akterlik sheberlik».
During the internship, the Department of Philosophy, together with the scientific library, organized a special methodological seminar for us: on working with electronic resources, full-text databases and other information capabilities of the ENU scientific library. During the period of the scientific internship, we studied information sources on the topics of dissertation research, considered modeling methods, data collection, modern software products as well as rules for the preparation of scientific reports.
We were in constant interaction with our internship supervisors K. Medeuova, U. Sandybayeva and Professors of the Department, took part in weekly scientific seminars of the department at which doctoral students presented their research topics. We also attended the classes of Professor K. Medeuova on the course «Marginal Epistemology of the Twentieth Century».
