Eurasian National University L.N. Gumilev actively cooperates with the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek (Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan). This university was founded in 1918 and is one of the largest and oldest higher educational institutions in Uzbekistan.
As part of the memorandum concluded between the universities, on February 2, 2022, an online lecture on the sociology of medicine by Akhmedova Feruza Medetovna, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in sociological sciences, was held. Feruza Medetovna spoke about the development of the sociology of medicine in the world and in Uzbekistan, about the sociological aspects of medicine and healthcare, which make a significant contribution to the prevention of diseases and the formation of health values in society.
The listeners and active participants of the event were doctoral students, undergraduates and teachers of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov. Head of the Department of Sociology Baygobylov N.O. offered cooperation in conducting master classes, joint conferences, exchange of students and undergraduates.
