The Environmental Volunteering Club of the Faculty of Social Sciences organised an ECO ACTION

In today's world we are constantly confronted with used materials that have already fulfilled their function in everyday life or in production. There is an abundance of materials and it is possible to use them for crafts, i.e. to give them a second life. From 25th March to 30th April an eco-action took place under the guidance of Darja Tabaran, Second Life for Unnecessary Material. Schoolchildren, students, masters, doctoral candidates and teachers in Kazakhstan took an active part. Participants made new products from used items and waste.

The Environmental Volunteering Club awarded the participants with diplomas for participation. Asiya Zhumagulova, a student of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering, won in the category "The most environmentally friendly product" and a pupil of the 3rd grade of secondary school named after M. Auezov Zhanibek won in the category "The most practical product". Zhanibekov Ansar won in the category "The most original product". The nomination "The most creative product for animals" was won by Zhumagali Nazerke and Tolkynbek Yernar, students of Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai (adviser - professor Bakirova K.Sh.), doctoral student of the psychology department of Gumilev ENU Gitikhmaeva L.M.
