On April 12, 2022, with the participation of the faculty of the Department of Sociology of the ENU named after L. Gumilyov was held the final online conference. At this conference, the reports of research practice of 2nd-year doctoral students of the specialty "8D03101 - Sociology" were heard. Following the academic calendar for the 2021-2022 academic year, in the period from January 31 to April 09, 2022, doctoral students practiced at the Department of Sociology and based on organizations such as NJSC "Research Association "Institute of Democracy," JSC "Science Foundation", NJSC "Toraighyrov University," etc.
During the internship, doctoral students have fully completed the amount of work and tasks provided for by individual work plans-schedules of research practice. Doctoral students demonstrated the ability to analyze and process information from various sources, choose and effectively use modern research methodology, plan and predict research results, and coordinate and implement the research process. At a high level, doctoral students demonstrated such professional skills and abilities as a responsible and creative attitude to scientific and scientific-pedagogical activities, a systematic understanding of the field of study, and demonstration of the quality and effectiveness of the selected scientific methods. As a result of the research practice, doctoral students have prepared scientific publications for collections of international conferences and publications recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
At the end of the conference, the commission of the Department of Sociology praised and accepted all doctoral students' reports.
