14 students with special needs study in the Department of Physical Education and Sports. In the academic year 2021-2022, 7 students studied online. Online learning is not a problem for students with special needs, as students can always connect with teachers through WhatsApp. An electronic library is also available to students.
Education of students with special educational needs is carried out online using innovative technologies and programs, including: Microsoft Teams, IOC, disk on the modern history of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In the department, the management of the faculty and teaching staff of the department met with the above-mentioned students. Faculty dean-Somjurek B.Zh. expressed an opinion about the organization of inclusive education at the university, high-quality educational services for people with special educational needs and people with disabilities.
Inclusion specialist is a separate profession. During the internship, the head of the Physical Education and Sports Department - Saliyeva A.Zh. Holds regular online meetings in offline mode using Microsoft Teams.
The content of the consulting work is to work with questions related to difficulties arising at various stages of training, self-service of a person, taking into account sensitivity and flexibility at any initiative in the educational process. The department attaches great importance to extracurricular activities, because all students with disabilities are active athletes. They participate in clubs and sections at the Paralympic Center.
