04/12/2022, a meeting of the section "Trends and Prospects for the Development of Sociology and Social Work in the Republic of Kazakhstan" was held, organized by the Department of Sociology as part of the XVII International Scientific Conference "ǴYLYM JÁNE BILIM-2022".
For participation in the conference on sociology and social work, 45 scientific articles of students and undergraduates were submitted. It should be noted the creativity of scientific research and the intellectual potential of future specialists, which allows us to assess the high level of professionalism of the teachers of the department.
According to the results of the section “Trends and prospects for the development of sociology and social work in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, diplomas were received by:

II degree Ilesbekova Zhansaya specialty - "Social work" and Alibekova Anel specialty - "Sociology".
