On April 3, 2021 a scientific seminar was held on the theme: "Experience of preparing and publishing an article in Scopus journals". The topic was chosen due to the new requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for PhD dissertations, where the focus is on the publication of PhD doctoral students in journals included in the databases Scopus and Web of Science.
PhD doctoral student of 2nd year Aigerim Temirbaeva gave a presentation, sharing her experience in the preparation and publication of articles in a ranking journal Q3. Aigerim talked about the requirements for such publications, the structure of the article, blind peer review, and the difficulties faced by a researcher in preparing an article. The presentation aroused a lot of interest and many questions, to which Aigerim Temirbaeva gave well-reasoned answers.
